Maintree Supportive Housing provides permanent residences to beneficiaries of the Alaska Mental Health Trust. This development was acquired and rehabilitated in 2012 to provide 10 residential housing units for the target population along with a common kitchen and dining area, living room, laundry/craft area, tenant storage, office space and staff quarters for onsite staff. Residential supportive services are provided by South Peninsula Behavioral Health Services (The Center). This 9,376 ft 2 building offers eight 1- bedroom units and two 2-bedroom units.

(i.e. experiencing a mental illness or developmental disability) This development was constructed in 2005 to provide 9 residential housing units for the target population along with a common kitchen and dining area, living room, laundry/craft area, tenant storage and office space for onsite staff. Residential supportive services are provided by South Peninsula Behavioral Health Services (The Center). This property offers nine 1-bedroom units.

Homer Office & Community Center

Homer Office
KPHI developed a permanent Office with an adjoining Community Housing Center in Homer; the office serves as the corporate headquarters of the organization. The property was development with the help of a Rasmuson Foundation grant and NSP Funds from Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, in addition to the use of KPHI operating funds. The Community Housing Center is still being developed with plans to incorporate audio and visual equipment in the future in addition to the training stations that have already been suppled for the space. There is a public use computer that allows perspective tenants to fill out rental application for our vacancies, as well as other information about other resources available through other organizations. The 250 sq ft space has room for 8 – 12 person trainings, meetings or seminars.

Tyee Court has been awarded 8 project based vouches that provide HUD rent subsidies based on the tenant’s income. The tenant’s portion of rent is equal to 30% of Adjusted Monthly Income. Tyee Court was developed and is managed by KPHI, and is owned by a single asset ownership organization, Tyee Court Housing Inc. (TCHI).
